Founded in 2018, Micro Forest Designs emerged from a passion for environmental conservation and sustainable landscaping. We recognized the urgent need to combat urban heat islands, air pollution, and biodiversity loss in Kerala's rapidly developing cities.
Our founders, trained in the revolutionary Miyawaki method of afforestation, pioneered the micro forest movement in Kerala. This Japanese technique, developed by botanist Akira Miyawaki, creates dense, native forests that grow 10 times faster and become 30 times denser than conventional plantations.
Today, we've successfully completed over 500 projects across all 14 Kerala districts, creating more than 50 thriving micro forests and transforming countless residential and commercial spaces into sustainable green ecosystems.
